OVERHEAT

Defeat the evil SteamBall, but pay attention not to overheat!

The game gets more difficult by giving you less power ups every time you beat it.

 Guide

•  If you overheat, you explode. Being hit by attacks or using the shield increase your heat
• Stand still and don't press any key. After 1 second you will start to cool off
• You cannot use your weapons when overheated
• Hold K or L to use your weapons
• The boss' health can be seen through the pressure gauge on its back.

Tips

• Try to cool off between enemies attacks
• Try to understand the attack patterns and how to evade them
• The boss is slowly overheating and will eventually explode. Stay focused and try to survive until it happens.

This game was made for the Blackthornprod GAME JAM #3. The theme was "Less is More".

Fun fact: somebody called the boss an "evil roomba". My game already got memes.

I made all the art for the game, except for this font.

I joined the Jam in the last three days so I had no time to add audio :(
